Am I getting Lava Runner's effect right in Magic the Gathering?

The only thing that targets a creature is something that says "target" on the card or in the rules text (for auras and equipment). Attacks never target. Wrath of God does not target, Cruel Edict does not target, Pyroclasm does not target, Terminate targets, equipping an artifact to a creature targets and will trigger Lava Runner's ability, Journey to Nowhere targets.
