Shape-shifting Animals from any oldskool mythology?

Asian myths of long-lived foxes gaining supernatural abilities come to mind - the Japanese kitsune, Chinese Huli Jing and Korean Kumiho, for instance. The Japanese also had other shape-shifting animals - the Tanuki (supernatural racoon dog), the Mujina (supernatural badger) and the Bakeneko (supernatural cat). Nothing else immediately comes to mind, though.
