MTG question about what sets are instants sorcerys?

i was wondering if someone could tell me from which set to which set where the sorcery spells instants? because i have more then a few sorcerys from older sets like portal that must be instants because of the there effect and the way they are worded. for example,i have a card called "Treetop Defense" and it is a sorcery that says "Play Treetop Defense only after your attacked. before you declare interceptors. This turn, all your creatures can intercept as though they had flying."
