Theists, if your religious texts have all the answers, why haven't we gotten any cures or scientific solutions?

There is a claim made by Christians and Muslims that their religious texts have scientific discoveries in them. It's one thing to have information that was known at the time it was written, but it's another to have a discovery that no one else could have possibly known. We do know now that the ancients were more sophisticated than we give them credit for. Case in point, the Ancient Egyptians did know the Earth was round and could calculate latitude and longitude. In the past 2000 years, we've not discovered a single medical treatment encoded in the bible that has cured a disease, or found a cryptic text int he Koran that tells us how to build an air plane. We rely upon scientists, and engineers using theories (that most of you reject) have developed new methods for saving lives and technological achievements that would seem like magic and sorcery to the people who wrote those sacred texts. So I ask you to prove the claim that scientific knowledge can be found in those texts.
